Just got the car back from the 2nd service. Had the 7.1 nav upgrade done. You no longer have to touch the screen now for the nav to turn on. Also had the seat belt chime turned off.....light will still flash on dash. I also had some adjustments made on the personal settings, locks etc. I'm glad someone posted the PDF print out, I brought that to the dealer checked with what I preferred.

I'm liking this car again and not feeling so much like a restricted 15 year old.

Now, if only I can get the nav,dvd,cell phone override shorted I'll be back to what my old BMW offered. Still the Lex is getting better to me and I swear at 10-k this car is even more responsive throttle wise than at 7.4-k.

is it me or does pushing the 'power mode' button gives the car a kick? can anyone tell what really happens when we switch it to 'pwr' vs 'snow' mode? thanks, and sorry if this has been asked b/4...

pwr mode, it changes the throttle response a bit, and also put the car in a bit aggressive mode in terms of shift points, etc... but it doesn't change the power output of the car

snow mode, on the other hand, retards a lot of the response of the car. i am not sure about ls460, but on the other olders, it starts the car in 2nd car.
