Could you LS guys help me clear something up?

This looks like the same control as the AS on my LWB Exec Class. There are actually three positions - the normal position is between the Sport and Comfort although it isn't labelled. There is a noticeable difference among the three - I like the comfort .

I just picked up my daughter, son-in-law and their big suitcases from the airport. The ride back on the comfort setting was not well controlled - lots of big up and down motions on the freeway. When I switched to the sport mode it tightened up very well. The only tradeoff was that you can feel the small bumps in the road. The normal position was in between. This is the first time I have had such a full load in the car. As I posted previously, I usually drive with the comfort setting- normally with one or two people and no luggage. So the adjustable setting was very useful. Merry Christmas to all.

just curious, do you mind telling us the msrp of your car and what packages you have? i am trying to see if it's easy to figure out if the car has air suspension from the sticker. i know 79k touring has it. 85k definitely has it. i have seen some other 79k non-touring and they have it.

and i definitely disagree with the sales. i have only driven swb very few times, but i can definitely tell the difference between air suspension (softer) and springs/shocks
that's just me of course

Question. What is the real purpose of the "Hight High" button? Does the ride feel any different with it activated. I tried it on our 600 mile trip to Detroit and I could not detect any difference. However, one can definitely feel the difference between the sport and comfort modes. I kind of like the comfort mode.

I have used the "High" extensively on my previous LS430, and haven't had the need to use it on the LS460L yet. I believe it raises the car some, even if it is only 0.0001", it still helps psychologically. As in the Houston metropolitan area if you get caught in a heavy downpour; the streets flood often and quickly.

?! what do you mean 5 seater with exec package? there is no such thing. the exec package is 4 seaters with massage. the 5 seat with RSES (dvd player) is only avaiable on the 600hl i believe

My brothers car has the right rear recline massage seat, but no work desk as he wanted room for 5 - he was told it was unavailable in the US and so he custom ordered the car. It has more amenities in the back seat than any of the 460L's I have seen on the 2 local dealers lots. He was offered, and declined the RSES.
having reclinable rear seats doesn't mean having massage seats though. reclinable rear seats are available on a lot of ls460l
for example my ls460l is 2nd top of the line, it has pretty much everything in the rear including reclinable seats, but there is no massage seat / RSES

Also there is no ottoman to put your feet up in the non exec class. In my exec class, the place of the middle rear seat contains not only the work table, but the controls for the rear DVD player, the massage, the headphone storage and the buttons for moving the seats. The left rear seat along reclines, but not as far as the right rear, and of course no ottoman for the feet and no massage. Finally, to accomodate the ottoman, the front passenger seat moves forward and up to an extreme position so that no one can sit there - so it becomes a three passenger car.
