In my country we have very different weather condition, so I have already experienced LED light pluses. The most felt plus is when it is raining or the road is wet at night. Xennon lights (comparing to RX) somehow get sucked into wet pavement (of course it is much better then hallogen lights), though LED lights bright up pavement very nicely.

Also, there is different in big fog. It defenately goes throught it much better then xennon..

And somehow LED light is brighter then xennon in long distance (exmpl. when car front is liften in some way during driving, shine distance is very long)

I don't know is it just my eyes that see like this, or is it realy is like so..

Yes, LEDs have their safety/visibility advantages, it's considered a useful safety feature.

stock are 4300k. that's the case for ALL hid on all brands. the reason you see "yellow" is coz' of the optik, some cars projector designs create more flake

the hid bulbs are d4s i believe. d2s and d2r are no more

Rominl

I know some places that sell the D2S bulbs at 6000K - would they fit on the LS-460? Do they have the same kind of socket?

For normal nighttime driving I miss the brightness of the Xenon headlights of my LS430.

Also, when I turn the brights on, you see a (somewhat odd) mixture of the white LED lights and the yellow bright lights.

ls430 (04-06) still have far superior light output, even when compared to the ls460 setup
