Anyone getting even close to $2K over invoice for an 08 LS460L?

has to be some kind of manufacture rebate or dealer incentive to get that particular model off the floor
odd there is no dealer hold backs on the LS
regardless, that is a steal of a deal for you
congrats homie

There is a dealer holdback on the LS. I know for the 2007 model SWB it was $1220. For the 2008 model year it is probably $1240 (2% of the base MSRP), but I don't know this for a fact.
That being said, I find it hard to believe that a dealer would sell the vehicle that cheaply unless there was something wrong with it (e.g. a buy back from an unsatisfied customer), or it was a demo.

Keep in mind, this was done the last day of the month. They were holding up reporting their numbers until my deal closed Saturday afternoon. Even though Saturday was 3/1 they still counted my deal as February.

I don't get this guy. No offense but I smell BS on the heads up thread on the classifieds saying he is doing us a favor by giving us a heads up about his boss's car. OK I am going back in hiding with Mel Gibson on my consipiracy theory

I'm an assistant, and the car is my employers. It's an executives car, he travels 60% - 70% of the year, and the car has not see much use. We went from an 02 LS 430 to this 05 LS 430, and are currently looking for an 08 LS 460, and thats why we're selling!
2005 LS 430
Black on Black/Walnut
Modern Luxury Package
ONLY 24.5K MILES!!!!
Its ALWAYS been detailed, I've personally seen thousands spent on this car in detailing & maintenance alone. The car has always been dealer serviced on time. The car has basically been 'babied', and is in EXCELLENT condition!
Please PM and I'd be more than happy to provide my phone number/email.

I know I may be trying to get too good of a deal..
But I live in Southern California and there are like 7 Lexus dealerships within driving distance. 10 or 12 if I pushed it a little.
So far I've gotten around $4K over invoice, and one around $3500 over.
Just wondering if anyone out there has been able to get one out the door around $2K over invoice?
Thanks!
(its just a matter of time!)

I paid 78,110 + tax for my dad's 460L '08. It has everything except the exec. back seat and dynamic cruise. Is this a good price? I'm buying a 07 for 69 even private sale no tax. Same as above but 07. Is this a good deal?

wonder how you can buy a used 07 without paying tax? how do you transfer the title? without mileage it's hard to say if it's good or not
