Default Pimp

I am a straight up pimp. It has taken me a few ho's to get to an LS460.

Someone said in the restaurant business, people still need to eat.

Another said, pharmD, people still get sick.

I say, pimp, people still need to ....

Well, I found out that the local university is offering a major in, "The Fundamentals of distributing Cocaine in a Mannerly Fashion"
JK. I would never go down that road. I'm actually talking to a luxury home builder now as a sales rep. There are quite a few million dollar plus homes going up all over this area. We'll see what happens

Thanks for the encouraging words Guys, but, it's much easier to say than do when you have a 2 year old daughter to support along with other bills. I don't even know how I'd pay for school with the way things are going here at work. I can't believe how bad things have become within the past year. It seems that all of the lenders have become sooooo strict now and I just found out that our corporate office may be shutting their doors. Un-freakin'-believable!!!

I can't believe that I have to start all over again I wish I knew the right people to get a well paying established career.

Btw, did you know that over 50% of all self-made millionaires have no formal education? What am I doing wrong!!??

While I don't have a degree I often wish I would have had the discipline to get through college. If you have the means to go back I would for sure since it would open many more doors for you. One more note is pay very close attention to the company you keep. Good business partners/relationships are very hard to come by.

I'm not so sure about that one. Do you have a source?

oops, I must have posted the same time as you...Since school is not an option right now I would try and keep as many revenue streams as open as possible. So if you do start selling houses make sure you keep doing mortgages on the side. Interesting fact about the 50% figure, both of my business partners are self made millionaires who came from Serbia/Bulgaria and did not even speak english when they came here.

Just look in the yellow pages under "career Counseling" and/or "Employment Agencies". Seriously. They can be the "right people".

You might want to rephrase that ... many self-made people have no "higher education" (as in college, or in some cases even high school), but it's hard to find successful people today who had no schooling at all. Maybe in the 19th Century and before, but not today.

When I say "Formal", I mean a college education. Just to clarify
I'm starting to get nervous about what I'm going to do without a college education

I can't believe that rates are at the lowest they've been in over 4-5 years and lenders are being so strict about everything. I mean 5.3 for a 30 year fixed and 4.8 for a 15 year fixed, I should be closing at least 15 loans a month.

Anyhow, I was just wondering what the 460 owners are doing for a living, but it seems as though the majority of you, all have college educations. Should have went to school to have something to fall back on.
