Default When answering incoming calls, they can't hear me?

When someone calls me while driving, I answer, and they can't hear me. It just started doing this the other day. Then when I call and they can hear me speaking through the mic. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Not sure why that is happening, it could be something to do with how the phone receives and sends calls via BT, it could be the coverage level in the area people are sending the calls, etc.

Has there been an adjustment to the mic level in your car? IIRC in the diagnostic menu that can be adjusted to louder, that way your voice will be sent at max vol. to whoever is receiving, whether you are calling or they call you.

A similar situation arises with me as well...only I can't hear anyone either way (me making the call or someone calling me). It happens only once in awhile and can happen even after having made a successful call where we heard one another and then making another call and not being able to hear while connected through Bluetooth. In every case, I restart the car and it is fixed. Based on that, it would suggest to me that it is a system/Bluetooth glitch that likes to rear its ugly head once in awhile. Sort of like a computer when things start acting up for no apparent reason and you reboot the computer and it goes away. By the way, this was the case for both my LS 460's so it suggests to me it isn't isolated.

Rugby...you ever get this issue resolved? I would think it was a bluetooth issue as my Palm650 occasionally will not hook up to my wireless headset. The very next time it might work. Go figure...maybe technology still has quite a ways to go? Anyway, just wondering if you got it fixed. Thanks....

Strictly on the down low....

I was going to suggest privacy feature, as in mute, might be worth a look but you have resolved it.
