is the facelifted 04+ LS 430, correct...

However, I think Nextourer is talking about the 3 gen comparo pic here:
which is also correctly the 95-97 one in the middle.
Ah I see , I thought he's referring to the OP ...

I've owned every model except the 04-06. I currently own a 08 460 and there's just no going back - for so many reasons. The biggest reason is probably the transmission, no dead spots.

Why is the LS406L wider than the regular LS460. Also looking at the pics the dimensions of all 4 generations are the same except for LWB of course.

are you sure you are looking at the rulers correctly?! the ruler is BELOW the picture, not above. all 4L S are 73.8

hehe, confused again, the two ls430, they are both 5.7" clearance?

the 600hl is a bit lower probably coz' of the extra weight

Just to clarify, the LS 430 image is of the standard LS 430 in both cases.

2001 LS 430 (UCF30 I) w/ air suspension
Ground clearance: 5.9''
Overall height is 57.7''
(vs. 5.7'' and 57.9'' for non-AVS)

2004 LS 430 (UCF30 II) w/ air suspension
Ground clearance: 5.9''
Overall height is 57.9''
(vs. 5.7'' and 58.7'' for non-AVS)

Drag coefficient goes from 0.26 to 0.25 when air suspension is installed, in both cases (best-in-class).

Now I'm confused too. How can the LS600hL be both lower AND taller than the LS460L?
