Prestigious Nav Lock Question
I just got my unit in today and was reading the instructions. It says you have to press a trigger on a wire to be able to access the video and nav while driving. That kind of sucks doesn't it?

Yikes....that doesn't sound good. I still haven't pulled the trigger yet for my LS460, but would like to hear what others are saying about this issue of burning the screen.

please give me a break. tell that shop to go take a hike. i have yet to see one override unit burning up the screen or even have any negative against the stock system. it's a passive system, at the most, it just doesn't work... complete BS
the trigger is needed coz' you are disabling the GPS tracking. no way around it

With all due respect, if you had read the thread, you'd know that you have to press a button to activate the override.

It's really not much of a bother...it's quick and if you place it in a good spot, very easy. Much better of a solution than not having access at all to the items that I can't use without the override :-) For your consideration.

Totally agree. No way is it going to "burn up the screen", since the screen is doing what it does anyway. All the hack does is interrupt the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) signal and activate the parking brake "on" signal.
With all due respect, if you had read the thread, you'd know that you have to press a button to activate the override.

Rugby....no, haven't contacted that guy yet because I haven't gotten to price talking yet. Once that talk begins, I'll be calling him.
As for the "Tigers Suck Ballz" comment, last 30 year record of 21-8-1 in our "rivalry" (hard to call it a rivalry lately) game says otherwise. Still waiting on King Spurrier to show some improvement. I sent an interesting video to your PM....enjoy!

I put mine there at first too, but I found my knee rested against it when I was using cruise control and pulled my foot away from the accelerator.
I put mine here (see below), and although it's upside-down, I know which button does what and it works fine for me. Actually, I can see it better in this location, so that's where mine is going to stay.
