Got my car back, pulley recall done, car is washed, tank is full, nav is upgraded to 7.1, 10k mile service done. As usual, always top-notch service.

You are driving the finest mass produced passenger car ever made on the planet. Don't sweat this small stuff.

By the way, I just had the 5000 mile service done. Do you think this pulley recall (to which my VIN is subjected) can wait for either "warning noise" or 10,000?
I've got over 20K miles on mine and it is scheduled for this recall on the 28th of this month. I'm not worried...

Transmissions and fuel pumps. I remember doing 2, sometimes 3 transmissions a day when those recalls were out.

I would say you should probably go ahead and get the recall done before your 10,000 mile service. If you really dont have the time, I would probably say you will be alright though. I have done a lot of these recalls. I have inspected all of the pulleys I have pulled off on each car, and none of them have been cracked or show signs of failure. The one vehicle I had before the recall was issued had a pretty loud tapping sound at idle. I would say that unless you hear that noise, you will probably be alright.

This is a Lexus Limited Service Campaign, which means its not as serious at a full on campaign. It still needs to be addressed, but they are saying that there is no immediate rush/concern.
