Default jic coilovers for ls460 are out

i was reading the apr issues of the vip car mag and vip style cars, both have quite some coverage on the jic coilovers for the ls460. forgot the exact price, but i think it's about 2k US. of course shipping and other cost on top to bring them over.

finally there is a full coilovers setup for the ls460

no way, a set of uas setup is already more than 2k. controller, another 6-700. assume you use stock shocks (not preferred), and installation can easily run you 1k (all the plumbing work). so that's like 4k for the uas air setup

installation of coilovers is probably around 150 here in socal

jic is japanese company! they have us importer

I have a set of JIC's for my STi. I have not installed them yet, but they are supposed to be really good. I also thought they were a California company. I thought they built the coilovers in Orange County somewhere.

You are correct. They are still made in Japan. I guess I got confused when I was told that they can rebuild my Coilovers anytime I want if I bring them in.

the white platinum motorcars vip car is basically the set up with the coilovers. its somewhere in the forum here. maybe somebody can help you out finding it. im too lazy to look. i know they used jic parts and did a custom coillver. when i asked jic about them, they told me they were basing their production of that car. although there isnt pics of the actual coilover, you can see the adjustability.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...t=platinum+VIP
thats pretty intense for coils.
I was just looking for something to get rid of that nasty wheel gap for a SWB.

Im guessing they will be around 2-3k ?
