Default Autoweek magazine finishes long term test with LS-460

Overall it was a very good review, but they are so dumb that they said the trunk was small because of the reclining seats. WRONG, it's because of the 4 zone a/c that has an independent compressor at the back. And they call themselves "experts"....

well, actually it depends on what ls460 they reviewed. if it's the ls460 swb, then there is no 4 zone a/c i believe, and the trunk is already the "larger" version.

and if it's the lwb, then it depends if the car they refer to have the rear seats upgrade or not

Autoweek is a extremely biased/agenda-based publication. Take with grain of salt of course.

But when a review is glowing, we all pat each other on the shoulder, right?

same here, i am surprised if power rear seats are not available on the swb

http://www.lexus.com/models/LS/features/pricing.html

isn't it part of the comfort plus package?

Not sure which reclining seat is being referred to.
The one exclusive to the 460L Exec.Package can recline 45 degrees with the ottoman allowing you to extend your legs forward , plus has the shiatsu massager. Then there is the regular seat that can recline just a little.

Yes, they are, I've sat in a showroom and tried the LS 460 reclining seats myself.

Yes Sir. My SWB has them.

Guess I could have been reclined in the back seat while you did the install.

Thanks again.

lol, that could do the trick.

so i guess autoweek was in a swb and complain about the trunk space? man they should be in a lwb with rear seat upgrades

on the other hand, i do agree that say the s class, it has quite a bit larger and more practical trunk
