Default Squeaky Springs Replaced

Service items performed today:

1. Squeaky front springs replaced; related front wheel alignment. This noise mostly occurs going over speed bumps, and is covered under TSIB L-SU002-07.

2. Idler pulleys & belt replaced as per recent recall.

3. 32,000 Km Service.

4. Requested Nav 7.1 upgrade; dealer emailed Lexus Canada and will follow up.

Interesting. My car is within the VIN range but I don't have any "spring" noise.

The squeak is very brief and not very loud - front wheels only. And, it only occurs going slowly over speed bumps. Not every car has this phenomena. Lexus has redesigned the springs and only replaced the ones affected, as per the TSIB. It sounds like the springs on an old couch. The repair completely eliminates the noise. I wish it were the same for the wind noise...

Glad that the repair worked! The wind noise fix worked for you right?

Yes it did. I'm now hearing a faint squeak, but it is very slight; not enough to complain about it.
