thanks mike. yes i remember reading that part in the manual. however, 5w-20 is still different from 5w-30, which is used in all other lexus models. rjm stated he asked dealership and got 5w-30 being used in all lexus cars, that's what i don't agree on

True. I think I might have accidentally stated 5W-30 in one of my posts, too. But they did use 5W-20 in my car this time.

But my discussion had to do with whether Lexus ships its cars with synthetic or mineral oil, and it appears they just don't come from the factory with synthetic ...
