Any one upgraded there Air Intake/Exhaust?
Just wondering If anyone knows where to find a High flow air intake and an exhaust for 07 LS460L. I'm hoping some one has done this already
And yes I know its a Luxury car and all, but can you really ever have enough HP? I think not

There is way too much stuff going on in this engine. There are more than 8 knock sensors, intake temperature sensors, intake valve timing software and very complex fuel management and emissions maps. I personally believe it is a waste of money, time and warranty to fiddle with these things. I had owned and worked on modern american muscle cars where the natual thing to do is to improve intake and exhaust right off the dealer lot. It is becoming more and more difficult to adjust ECU paramentes after very simple changes like intake and exhaust.
On this particular luxo-barge I would not recommend doing anything to the engine (including changing intake and/or exhaust) just because there is a LOT of engineering in this all new 4.6 V-8 and the ECU just expects everything to be as developed to be able to manage the engine not only for performance but also for durability.
Just the install of a different air cleaner (like K&N filters) will have a negative impact on how this engine performs, and the gas mileage will suffer.
BTW what makes you feel the power (and win short racing take-offs) is torque, not HP.
