Okay, I'll bite ... what does "45 SR" mean. Obviously it doesn't have a big tank if you can fill it for 12 bucks.

when I registered in this forum, the registration form force me to enter a state

I entered texas (I lived long time in sugar land Houston, I still remember the zip code) But I am from Saudi Arabia. SR is Saudi Riyal, one dollar equates to 3.77 SR

Haha. I thought maybe a 45SR was some kind of moped or something. Thanks for the clarification.

To remind us all how quickly the gas prices have risen, I found an article from September 29, 2006 USA Today about the fall colors in New England. This was after the price spike from Hurricane Katrina. "The average price has dropped... to $2.36 this week. And analysts say it could soon drop to about $2.20." That was 20 months ago. Of course, it was for regular.

In a somewhat strange about-face, I heard this morning that oil industry analysts are saying the price of oil will drop after the July 4th holiday, and should settle in around $100 a barrel. I like the sound of that.

I'm also happy to see a new refinery - the first in over 30 years - is to be built in South Dakota.

Maybe there IS hope after all, huh?
