Winter Driving with LS460

AWD sure helps on my 2008 LS
AWD has made a tremendous difference on my 2008 LS.
Twice my 2003 LS430 with snow tires couldn't get up my driveway after heavy snows.
The AWD 2008 LS had no such problem last winter. Just a nice, steady climb.
Once, in my LS430, I even got stuck half way out of the garage!
After I backed out half way, the rear wheels hit the solid ice driveway, lost traction, and even with the traction control, the car started drifting sideways.
If I'd have continued trying, I'm sure the car would have hit the side of the garage door opening.
I actually had to use Lexus Link to tow my car out of the garage. (I didn't have any sand to put under the rear wheels).
That was kind of funny in itself. I tried to decide whether to call Lexus Link, or AAA for help. I decided to give Lexus Link a try, and they sent out AAA.
