Clear Bra for the LS?
Hey everyone, i'm looking to buy my dad a clear bra for his LS for his birthday, (got the windows tinted last time =p), and well i went to order it today but i got a little confused...
i found this site using google and searching Clear Bra, it came up as one of the sponsored results -- they have the kit for the car, and its called.. lol LS460 Bumper Kit
http://www.invisiblemask.com/cgi-bin...US&model=LS460
but i don't see that covering the hood at all??
that site also sells 2 brands, 3M Scotchgard and Invisi-mask.. i was going to go with 3M.. its no price difference but the invisi has lifetime warranty and 3m has 5 year.. but isnt 3M a more reputable/quality company?
anyways, i just wanted to get some input from anyone who has this rather than order the wrong thing =(, so any help is appreciated on where to get a clear bra from, and i want it to cover the front bumper, and if possible, 1/2 up the hood (i feel 1/4 is too short and full is too much llol)
thanks

Both are good brands, but the critical item to consider is the installation. If not done properly, you will have air bubbles, wrinkles, and it peels at the edges and dirt get under it. I recommend installation be done by a professional only.

Professional install ONLY!!!
I agree with CEO Eng...I too have the 3M Xpel on my car. You can either purchase the kit or have it custom sized to the coverage you want. I got the extended coverage on mine (not quite halfway up the hood). I've had it on all our cars since 2003. I watched the installer put it on, and it's not so simple to "get it right". There's quite a bit of talent to this, and I'd hate to ruin the look of the car with a bad install. Just my $.02.

I also have the 3M film on my LS and I really like it. I have the extended coverage which covers complete front bumper, mirrors, half the hood and fenders. I have had the 3M film on my GX for two years and it has held up very well so 3M has my vote. I had mine professionally installed.
