I am still waiting for a "better deal" than $4k under invoice for a 2nd LS.
I can't see things getting better anytime soon.

I'm waiting on delivery for a Smokey Granite LS460. I'm leasing the car with $0 down for $1,100 including taxes. The car's MSRP is $69265 and I got it for $56,000 so thats a discount of $13,265. Earlier today I received another call from a dealer offering me $1,025 per month including taxes for a black on black with the same MSRP but I have already started the paperwork on the Smokey Granite.

Where are you? I could take black on black. I'm shopping for 550i now, but can't find good equipped car, so LS460 looks like a good alternative.

I live in Florida but I'm in Arizona and car prices are cheap over here so I was going to lease a car from here and ship it down until a dealership from Florida called me and gave me the $1,100 deal. Lexus of Scottsdale offered me the $1,025 deal and the guys name is Richard. The deal was for 36 mo 15k a year, about $2000 to $2500 due at signing(first months payment and security deposit). My credit score is excellent so I'm not sure if that is a determining factor. Tell the guy that Edward told you about the deal so he can cut the bull crap of trying to charge more lol. I have been shopping around for an LS for about a month now so I know that you would be getting an amazing deal if he really does honor the price and doesn't try to screw you at the end. Let me know how it goes.

P.S. You can have the car shipped to Florida for about $800 just to give you an idea of how much shipping would cost if you don't live in Arizona.

I was looking into the 550 also. The LS460 is a way better car all around, especially with $13k off of sticker and air conditioned seats. Plus Lexus trumps all other car manufacturers when it comes to reliability. I have a 140,000 mile 2002 IS300(work car now) and have never had a problem with it. My brothers 2007 BMW 650 on the other hand has been to the dealer over 5 times the past year and has stayed overnight there on more than one occasion.

^^ there is almost no way you will get the LS460 AWD now at invoice price

we are talking about the model year end 2008 LS460 SWB/LWB that dealer offers ridiculous incentives to get them off the lot

2009 pricing should be much higher

Default LS460 SWB Comfort Package

I am currently dealing on a comfort package and some of the other normal options (door close, intuitive parking assist, trunk mat, wheel locks, etc.) swb LS460. MSRP is about 65K. Edmunds says the invoice is about 56-57K.

My current offer is 52650 + TTL. It seems like I'm reaching the limits of how low the dealerships are willing to go.

I think it can definitely be done if you have tier one credit.
