Can anyone recommend a good Verizon Wireless phone that is compatible with the LS 460? The list on the Lexus site is somewhat generic in that there are no details on how well they do or do not work.
I don't need a lot of functionality.
Thanks.

Most if not all of the newer (less than 5 years old) Bluetooth capable phones will link to the 460. Any difficulties stem from accomplishing specific tasks like transferring the Phonebook for instance. Little things like the readout on the LS displaying reception and battery level are anybody's guess. From my survey of the Lexus list, it seems the transfer of the whole Phonebook is available mainly on sophisticated phones like Blackberry. Otherwise, it's a slog transferring one-by-one, step-by-step. I've written down this methodical process, and will post it here one day soon.

I have a Blackberry Curve 8330 from Verizon and it works fine on the LS 600 so it should work with the 460. Transfered phone book and connects calls thru bluetooth with no problems.

I have the Verizon Voyager and it connected just fine. The address book however would NOT transfer. Had to enter manually into Lexus address book. In all, it didn't take that long to do.

LG Voyager here too and it works just fine. I believe the address book transfer problem is because Verizon doesn't allow that function on their phones.
It also worked well with my Motorola Razr, but the phone was the worse one I ever owned.

Here’s a step-by-step Bluetooth procedure for transferring individual contacts, if the whole Phonebook approach fails. It should work for most phones once a Bluetooth link is established. Once you get the hang of it, it works fine, although initially, you might find it easier to enter them manually on the LS’s display. If you have a lot of contacts, then this method might suit you better. I used a Nokia phone for this example, however I achieved similar results with Samsung or Motorola phones.
On LS Display:
1. Goto “Phone Screen”.
2. Select: Phonebook/Options/Transfer Phonebook/Group/Add.
3. Display will show “Transferring”.
On your Cell Phone:
1. Select contact to be transferred.
2. Goto your Bluetooth Option.
3. Select Send Business Card/Via Bluetooth.
4. Device should now come up as Handsfree or other name you may have changed it to.
5. Select Device – Card or Contact will now be transferred to the LS.
6. Screen will display, “Transfer is Complete”, followed by…
7. “Transfer Another Entry?” – “Choose Yes/No”.
8. Repeat above is “Yes”.
