Well, my dealer knows nothing about the supposed Dunlop tire replacement, and my service advisor suggested I call Lexus about it.
Lexus Customer service was very polite and nice about it, but said they were unaware of anything related to a replacement program. The first guy even transferred me to his supervisor to see if he knew about it.
They told me they will contact my dealer's service manager and discuss the situation with him. The corporate guy suggested they "might" want to extend me some kind of "assistance" with the tires, given my previous ownership of 4 other Lexus vehicles.
I've read on CL about people getting a new set of tires at a substantial discount, and if they offer me that I'll jump at it. However, I really don't want to get more Dunlops.
And Nospin - I had them realign my car at 5,000 miles, although it wasn't far out of spec. The odd tire wear continued, and the service mgr. told me it was consistent with what he'd seen on other Dunlops on LS's. I now have about 12,600 miles on the tires and it looks doubrful they'll go much over 18,000 at best.

My dealer knows about the tire problem. I don't have enough miles on my car yet, and the tires aren't wearing funny right now. They told me, when I have 12,000 miles, I will see the tire problem. I will have them replace my tires with Michelin's when the time comes. You shoudl try another dealer if the one you deal with doesn't know what they're talking about. I also don't want anymore Dunlop tires. They don't ride good, but so far aren't wearing funny.

Actually, my dealer DOES know about issues with the Dunlops, just not a replacement program.
I'll see what Lexus Cust. Svc. comes up with on Monday (they're supposed to call me back) and go from there.

My big ol’ sweet 2012 LS460 has 124,000 miles on the clock, and has been through several different sets of tars. So far the Bridgestone Serenity set has been the best by far: decent grip, long life, smooth and quiet.
