The first one is the one without the radar cruise control, the second one is with the radar cruise incorporated inside, that's the way it is from day one in N.America, depending on whether your LS have the radar cruise contol option or not.

the reason is the sensor is mounted right behind the grille (for those cars equipped with it) so the logo has to be "transparent" but yet protected, thus the clear cover
from the first pic, your car doesn't seem to have that radar cruise control

ding ding ding, that's the answer. both grilles have been available since ls460 debut, but the glass protected one is only for those with radar (or laser? i am always confused) cruise control.

It's milli-wave radar cruise for LS460/600h's, I think it's Laser cruise for the LS430 ...

I wanted to swap the front logo with that one until I found out it was 900+ bucks,thats just for the logo ,the similiar 600 logo with no radar is about 60 bucks,I guess he has the logo with no radar,unless he changed the whole car

The Grill Consists of 3 pieces , I had to buy all 3
Outer Frame ( I cant remember its price because i returned it back after an hour of purchasing there was no need for it, seems 07 Outer frame is compatible with the updates).
Lex Grille Radiator (135 USD)
Logo (369 USD) It's diameter is a bit greater than the old one , thats why the radiator grille has to be changed.

Im thinking of installing the WALD kit from head to toe (rims), Tanable lowering springs and maybe the LS 600 Headlights.
Been a hard decision since 6 months.
Any further Advice ? Are there any other kits out there that are more
attractive than the WALD ?
