JustBob,
Congrats on a new car purchase!!! Sory to hear that it's not LS, but to each his own.
I think it would be cool for you to post some pics of your new ride.

I always looked forward to the day when I'd be posting pics of my nice new ride, like all the others I have enjoyed here. Guess I could still do it if anyone is interested.

Definitely post pics of your new ride, I like the A8 too. I used to own an Audi TT and I love it, I think Audi makes some really cool cars (good looking inside out, good handling, etc). My only complaint was the service but it probably was just the dealer I brought the car to at the time. The resale value isn't that great on the Audi but if you plan on keeping it for a long time, I don't think it matters.

Congrats!

Derek

Personally, although I think the LS460 is a good car, I still would choose the A8 because of the AWD feature.
I just read on this forum that an owner just took delivery of an AWD LS460. What am I missing?

Personally I am not into Germany's perception of Luxury in most of their cars. This is the only audi I would drive

Well, I pulled the trigger yesterday. 2008 White A8L, with the Amaretto interior (several different colors, the seat leather is a rich, light brown).

I ended up buying it, using .009 financing (60 mos). This great rate trumped buying a used one. The car is at a SoCal dealer, so I won't get delivery until this weekend.

Sadly, there's no active Audi forum, that I can find anyway, like this great forum!

congrats! my dad's is amaretto too, but his is black. beautiful car!
