it's pretty simple DIY. the hid kits are plug and play. just gain access to fogs and mount (stick) the ballasts somewhere higher up. it's not hard

the fogs are def. DYI just get under the car and its easy. I originally got 4300k fogs to match the headlights then later got 6000k headlight bulbs and i actually like the mismatch.

Thanks, I miss the power of HIDs on the 600. The lumen output is just slightly better than conventional Halogens. I know LEDs are still in their infancy - even so, they do look mighty impressive, so... in the meantime, upgrading the fogs to HID will put a lot of light where it's needed most.

 

I have a black GS and was thinking about getting a clear bra but I heard it shows the lines more on a black car unless I do the whole hood... With your pic, I couldn't see the clear bra at all! I am leaning towards getting one now.... thats a clean ride.

 

thanks.... You really cant see the clear bra as much as i thought you would be able to, but from up close you can. I think its worth protecting the front end from rocks chips. I would highly recommend it after looking at the front of my sc430 which is also black.
