Just celebrated my LS460L's 2nd birthday on Oct 26. I received the car the day it was released in Brooklyn, NY in 2006.

To celebrate, I upgraded the Nav System. Had the back bumper removed and had all the scratches, dings and dents repaired. I also had the leather in the driver seat replaced. Being an idiot, I started smoking again after 11 years and burned a whole in my seat.

All in all, it was a mini makeover for the most reliable and beautiful car I ever had.

One quick note. Since the day I received the car, I complained about the front seat air conditioning. I had them look at it and they said there was nothing wrong with it. They listened to the seat and said the fan was running etc.
Now, 2 years later I have the leather replaced and the seat is working fine. Who knows what goes on?

 

you got the leather replaced under warranty? for what, premature wear?

No, he burned a hole in it - hopefully he wasn't sitting on it at the time. If the seat cooling fan had been working, maybe it would have put the cigarette out, eh?
