they may solve this problem, and make it better then other cars by making the reciever sensors next to the tyre rather than one which recieves 5 signals, so even if u rotate the tyre, the recievers will be in the same place hidn next to the tyre.

but the only thing u have to do is to add the unique number for each sensor to all the recievers and make the reciever close so tha it doesnt catch other tyre sensor.

lol

long and hard but 100% effective

i wich lexus will do

i can help them if the want

i am a computer engineer lo0ol

Can someone help me permanently disable this TPMS?
I own a tire gauge and an air compressor and know how to wrench
I don't need a light to tell me I have low pressure
I run summer and winter tires and try not to contribute to the stealers retirement plan
Help lexus friends help

You'd probably be better off to make peace with the system now as you'll be running into it forever more. It is required equipment on all new passenger vehicles per the Feds. Probably a b*&tch to disable, if not now then for sure in future models. As the other poster suggested, there are tire places and gizmos from online stores that will (re)program the system at minimal cost to accommodate multiple tire sets. Plus, it actually DOES work, you know. Sometimes it can be a good idea to know your real-time tire pressures. Good luck.

I actually like my 2009 LS460 TPMS system.

It displayed actual pressure of the 4 mounted tires AND the pressure in the spare.

Any time I see pressures overall low, I fire up the compressor and top off the tires

I rarely go to the effort of checking spare tire pressure so it's obvious to me which display is the spare because its the one that does not increase pressure as I drive and tires got warm.

A slow leak is easily identified when one tire reads a few pounds lower than the rest, i.e. ignoring the spare.

My spare happens to be the top pressure displayed. When I top it off I pump it up to 42 PSI Eventually after about 12 months or so it self deflates to 30 PSI and I get a check tire warning.

My SC 430 is a different story. I got a TPMS tire warning light 35 miles from civilization. My heart stopped because I did not have a spare since it originally came with run flats which I ditched for poor ride. I pulled over and put the tire pressure gauge on all 4 and I found that I had 40+ PSI on all tires. It was a system problem so I continued on until the next exit, where I pulled off and rechecked to see if the pressures stayed up.
