Hi, I was mucking around with the Nav and added a few memory locations (funny, no icon for airport, just ship??). Possibly, as a result, I now have little breadcrumbs over all streets, HW, etc. and this makes it hard to read the screen.

My major Q is how to turn these breadcrumbs off?

P.S. I'm also considering the Nav hardware switch override (ridiculous to pull over and have wife enter new locations), does anyone know if near-term, lexus will ever do a Nav SW upgrade (I have v7.1) that removes the in-motion restriction?

The navi override kit is well worth it.. not to mention playing DVDs while the car is in motion (for your wife of course not for the you, the driver)

Shouldn't "POI off" voice command get rid of all icons? If you created a bunch of Memory Points that you don't want, you can go into the settings for Edit memory points and delete them.

you can get the override module from PS. send an email to kevin@prestigioussociety.com or chung@prestigioussociety.com, they are very helpful. i didn't follow that much on the prices though

that's what i thought as well. otherwise, i think when you are on the map, click on one of the icons at the bottom of the screen and there should be a screen to remove POI

Update: Actually, I can delete memory markers (icons 1-5), however the nav system is dropping small circular breadcrumbs on each new street/HW I take now.

Couldn't find any settings to turn this off even walking thru the supplied Lexus Nav training DVD.

I also turned off the POIs (reset to default) to no effect.

Undocumented feature I triggered?

If I remember correctly this is what I did.

Key-Map/Voice Button
On Screen-Key Map View
Route Trace=Stop
Keep Driven Route Trace on Map?=No
