When turned off, in excessive uncontrol situations I hear a new beeping sound and control is taken over. Its still possible to loose control, but the system still kicks in. My brother says in the old days a fuse could be removed. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know for sure but it wouldn't surprise me that it would still assist. The legal issues is somehow always present.
Just curious, are you going to the track with it?

correct, I pressed the disable button so dash indicates system deactivated. My brother who used to race on ice states that most manufacures wont allow total system deactivation. this appears to be the case. I will try holding the button for longer time. see if there is a multi stage setting.
lux: no track, just want to test some limitations. got sideways with stability on and had a little fun. wet pavement. brother worked at a driving school and is about to visit, was wanting to play a bit.
