There is dual pane, then there is dual pane. I have a 99 Mercedes S class and that was the last year Mercedes used the ultra thick dual pane glass. That stuff really cuts down on the noise. I had an Audi S8 that also had dual pane glass as thick as the S class and it was also very nice.

Oh yea and one more option that I would like to see.

Panoramic Sunroof like the S550 has.

I don't see dual or pano glass roof as an option anywhere and I've never seen an LS with a rear/pano/solid glass roof.

It is my understanding that all 07 LS460Ls, 08 LS460s, 08 LS460Ls, 08 LS600HLs came with the "Lamisafe" glass and that all 09 LSs are equipped with it too.

As I understand it, only the 07 LS460s (swb) came without the thick glass and that Lexus will install it, no charge, for anyone who asks for it. You might have to say the "magic" wind noise word to get it free.

that's what i was trying to say. a lot of ls already have two layers of glasses.

different engines in other countries maybe, depends on the needs. but definitely don't do v6 here in the states

Add a TPMS selector switch (for use with a 2nd set of wheels with snow tires) as provided on other Lexus models.

Improve the tractability (perhaps by upgrading the tires).

Offer an interior color in a shade mid way between black and all the other very light colors.

Wouldn't a pano roof be nice? Why isn't there one available? ES has it! How about pearl black as a color? I know a friend who would buy both of those options without question.

1. Ditto on the TPMS switch.
2. Ditto on less wind noise (SWB only has Lamisafe on front windows).
3. ML stereo is very good, but should be better.

no interest in Pano Roof - had it on our last Merc not interested in having it again.

Make ML Standard on all LS's - and offer an upgraded system for those inclined.

Add drop down TV Option on class other than EXEC!

Thanks, I didn't know about that, how would i know if I've Lamisafe already or not?

My wish list will be:
-- Unlock the Nav
-- More wheels type and size choices
-- Blind spot alert on side mirrors
-- Electric rear Sunshade on all models

changes to me
1) mirror turn signals
2) larger trunk
3) nav that i can use when driving
4) sportier version
I agree with Henry on this. Lexus' flagship car DESERVES a V8.

A V6 wouldn't get noticeably better mileage because it has the same amount of car to haul around, but with less power it has to work harder.

BMW 7 and Mercedes S-Class... no V6 available.

It would be nice if the LS had more/bigger wheel/tire combinations.

The S550 comes with 20" optional wheels (almost all California car are now equipped with 20s as STANDARD) and the 7 has a 21" package.

A sport package would be nice, with slightly uprated suspension and a lower ride height (about 20mm would do it).

More color choices would be nice, too. Silver & black are nice (yawns)

Actually, they should put the screens behind the front head rests, like next year's new RX.

I would imagine that one day, Lexus MIGHT offer a V6 hybrid with V8-like power for the LS, much like the GS450h, & if equipped with lithium ion batteries & with equivalent of ~400hp (let's say, a LS500hL), I won't necessarily be opposed to that. But I would hope they would improve on the LS600hL at the same time too if they do that.

But if it's just a "regular" LS350, then it's a , at least for N.America.

Is everyone else seeing the same exhaust burn on the surrounding silver/gold trim? It is really ugly to look at.
