so i just got back from a very nice new years vacation in japan (osaka) and while i was there i stopped by a lexus dealership just to see if they had anything different on their show room floors. i was given two different hardcover ls brochures upon leaving which turned out to be very nice looking books. they gave me the ls460 and ls 600 h/L brochures and i searched but could not find anything on these brochures anywhere. my wife (japanese) claims that they are very rare and are almost a collectors item in the states but i thought i would check first before i made this claim.

either way they are freakin sweet looking high quality hard cover books with like 100 + pages full of poster worthy pics and japanese text, and are going to make a great addition to my coffee table at home. have any of you guys seen these books or know of them being rare?? thanks, and btw i own a 430 and was just curious about the 460 so i stopped in.

Yes, the Lexus dealerships in Japan are something else, and I've seen those Japanese hardbound brochures sell on eBay for $50+...very nice!

If you ever have a chance to visit Lexus International Gallery in Aoyama, Tokyo, they have a display area with Lexus brochures from every major country where Lexus is sold, multiple languages etc. on display. It was quite fascinating to see.

I think Lexus are available in China already, so they should have dealerships in major cities like Shanghai & Beijing ?

I'll have to look again - I did not find anything in Beijing - in fact I don't think I have ever seen a LS in either City... Lots of Merc's - and Tons of Audi's - A8 is the "SHI." in these city's.

Months ago, I have googled Lexus LS460L and LS600hL with "advance search" specifying the Chinese language sites, & I've found a lot of pics of the LS on display in China, with some looking like dealerships, maybe you can try that.
