Mike....thanks for mentioning that....I was thinking the same thing when I was told my VIN wasn't being recalled for these parts.

My '08 Ls460 is included in the vin numbers noted in a communication above, yet I have just called my dealer, normally a very fine one, and they say that despite my vin, my car is not on the recall list. Is that possible? How so? Does anyone really know? Thanks!

I got a recall notice for my '07 about a week ago.

I just had this performed. Everything seems fine and dandy thus far. They've done a lot of them. That said, I reviewed the TSiB and it's very technical in nature. I'm no stranger to working on import cars and this is a horse of a different color.
