I am going with General UHP in 245/275 20". I had them on my M3 and they were what I expected for the money. I currently have Conti SC2 and they have worn down quickly and are loud. Check out the reviews on tirerack!

Only summer tires available
My car uses 245/45-19 tire size.
I've only been able to find summer tires in this size.
Does anyone know about any all season tires in this size?

replaced originals with Bridgestone Turanza Serenitys 10,000 miles ago and love them. Great tire for this car. We are not driving a Porsche (my other car...haha) and the Serenity is perfect for this highway cruiser. Ultra high performance tires are silly for this car and will generally wear faster.

I went over to my local Costco. They looked on the computer (all the LS460 tires have to be special ordered) and found the Pilot MXM4 which is rated 97V and costs $276 +$14 installation = $290 total. They also found an alternate Pilot Sport A/S Plus which is 97Y rated for $220+$14=$234. The advantage of the Sport is besides the price it is waranteed for 45K miles. On the Costco website, the Sport is only listed for the 460, not the 460L. Both tires are P235/50 R18. I like the idea of a longer wearing tire. I am about to replace my originals after only 20K+ miles. Thanks.

The Pilot Sport A/S plus are excellent tires. Just replaced my Boxster tires with these. Should be an excellent tire for the LS including the 460L. Is it the load rating keeping the computer from not including the 460L? The L is only about 200 pounds heaver so it shouldn't be a problem. The Pilot will not be as "smooth" as the Conti's but grip better and give much longer wear. Brand new design.

I have the 18" wheels. I guess that extra inch adds alot to the price. Thanks for the recommendations. I tried to find the new Nitto NT850, but the dealers I contacted didn't even see them on their Nitto website.

I think it would be the Michelin Pilot A/S with the 45K mile warranty. The new Nitto apparently has a similar warranty, but no one can find it! The other tires that I researched don't have the mileage warranty. I'm like you, no racing or fast cornering with my LS. I leave that to my old Camry or Civic.
