Do any of you guys know anything about HD downloads from services like HDtracks.com or itrax.com? I was able to get a file from itrax in DTS and put it on a CD, but I was interested in what formats are compatible with the ML system.

They should offer the 2010 LS compatible with Blu-Ray discs. The latest RUSH concert in Blu Ray called Snakes and Arrows is awesome. Too bad I can't play it in the car - I had to also buy the DVD version (just for the car) which is also good, but Blu Ray is so much better......

OK, this has taken me about a week, but here it is.
www.itrax.com -- You can download individual songs or full albums in a variety of formats. If you download in DTS, you get surround sound at about CD quality and you put it on a CD (I used Roxio). You can also download in 96/24 HD surround. The files are large (10 minutes of music is a gig). The 96/24 stuff has to be put on a DVD. I liked the site, but the music is very limited. When the pop-up box comes up, click SAVE. The DTS clearly sounds better than a regular CD. At least in the car, the 96/24 only sounds slightly better than DTS.
www.hdtracks.com -- They have a 96/24 HD store on their site. They have stereo HD only, not surround (you still have to put it on a DVD). They have a little better selection than itrax. I sent them a question on what I needed to do to play it in the car, and they sent me back a pretty good response. They have some free samples to try.
www.musicgiants.com -- you have to buy full albums only and you have to pay in $20 increments. But I couldn't get their music to download; now I'm trying to get my money back. So, I can't recommend this site.
The trick was getting the 96/24 HD music onto DVD Audio (This is where HDtracks came in. They said you have to burn the files as DVD Audio to get this thing to work). I got the software from www.cirlinca.com on 30 day free trial. It was very easy to use. I burned onto regular DVD-R discs. The software knows you're trying to write audio.
