LS460 fuel delivery pipe campaign replacement
I'm been getting raw gas fumes ever since I had my LS460 fuel delivery pipes (fuel rails) replaced.
The dealer, Concord, CA Lexus, has checked the car twice and couldn't duplicate the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem?
If so, what is the fix, if any?

Take your car to Magnussen Lexus in Fremont. Had zero problems with the replacement.

Concord Ca. keeps calling me to have this done. (they just want me to get an oil change for $190 while I am there I believe) Is it that important if you do not drive in the mountains where they use ethanol.

I had my fuel rails replaced at Concord Lexus about a month ago. It is working fine. It was running a little roiugh for a day or two -it may have been some bad gas. They filled the tank after doing the replacement. I have my regular service done at Exact Motors in Milpitas. The service writer at Lexus asked me whether I wanted my regular service and I said no, I had it done elsewhere. No pressure after that. If you do yours at Concord Lexus, at least you know it wasn't the first one they have done.

My 460 SWB had the work done two weeks ago. They also charged a reasonable $90 for a synthetic oil change. But they charged $40 to rotate the tires. I generally DO NOT use the dealer but since it was in for the fuel rail thingie I went for it. I didn't complain as I couldn't see getting labled as a bad customer for $20 (assuming it would cost $20 to rotate the tires elsewhere).

Had the fuel rails replaced at Lexus of Jacksonville. My wife discoverd a massive fuel leak under the car about 36 hours later. The car has failed to start 7 different times in the last two years. I'm on my third battery. The battery will drain down to the point where the doors will not open electrically. I keep getting the same song and dance from the dealership, we can't find anything wrong.

When I had mine done, I noticed some fuel odor in my car when I picked it up but it quickly went away. Next morning it was comletely gone and haven't had any issues.
