I just put in the one from prestigious society. It works well. Their instructions for installation are pretty good (don't ignore their suggestion about the rag to catch the navigation screws). It took me about 2.5 hours to put in.
I put the switch in the center console box.

Sorry to bring up an old post.
I'm fairly knowledgeable about car audio. On past aftermarkets car audio dvd stereo installation, you can ground a wire and bypass the dvd displaying while driving.
I wonder if you can do the same on the OEM LS 460 DVD player besides buying Prestigious Society adapter. This will save you $300!
I did some search and couldn't find any post.

Go with the Prestigious Society unit. Top notch support, flawless operation, clear and detailed installation instructions and nice compact switch. The Beatsonic....not so much. Some on this forum have bought the Beatsonic and then returned it to buy the PS.

I got the beat sonic. If you have a 07-09 you don't need the switch easily accessible. You can hide it. I leave it on all the time. Does not mess with the nav at all. The other switch on the other hand does. It's the switch that allows you to enter destination or phone book options while in motion but that feature I don't use at all

Recently installed the Beat-Sonic on my 2010. It's super easy to install. I highly recommend it! I've done several long road trips and I've never had an issue with it.
It is worth the full price but with the group buy going on, it's a no brainer! Don't miss out!
