I had my lexus serviced by a local mechanic and I need to reset oil and brake fluid change. how do I do this?

 

i believe there are instructions in the manual on how to reset the msg. or maybe you can try to do a search, a lot of info on this

I just had occasion to do this on a 5500 mile trip over the last two weeks.

With ignition on press TRIP button until TRIP A is displayed.

Turn ignition off.

With RESET button pressed steadily, press the START button twice.
You will see a left-to-right scrolling graphic and the TRIP A milage will be returned back to whatever it was and light will be extinguished.
