if the ls460l has air suspension, then you can get air controller to lower it

if not (on the rare side), you can probably get the tanabe springs. i am not 100% if it's only for swb or not

The lips tend to make the wheels look smaller on the car due to optical illusion.

But with wheels with no lips, I think 20" already look big enough on the car, even a LS460L.
lowering will also help. wheel gap will make wheels look smaller. once lowered, illusion will make the wheels look larger

The R-Spec/Datasystems controller is the unit to look for. Rominl can assist you with this as he had this on his previous LS460L.

nah, it's not too hard to find, price is pretty reasonable as well. good thing is it comes with a digital controller so you can adjust the height of the car from right inside the cabin. had it in my ls460l and i loved it. the control is pretty easy to use as well. i installed it in less than an hour.

you can email chung@prestigioussociety.com for more info, that's where i got mine from

Hey BSIMS_01, you never responded to the question about your switching back to stock. Why did you revert?

The air controller is not yet available for the 2010 model. The 2009 controller will not work. I was told it should be soon. Cost will be around $1200

Why isn't 22's feasible for everyday driving. My car has 245-30-20 and 275-30-20 and it rides smooth.
The LS should be able to handle the same 245-30 and 275-30 profiles on 22's. It's the tire choice that will make this work. An all-season high performance tire will profile a smooth ride in every size it comes in. My Conti DWS ride like a charm.

I have been considering and re-considering this decision. I have a 2008 LS460L and really want to go 20" because I think I can maintain the awesome ride (I have the adjustable dampening feature) and still have get a bit better handling and it will look much better. My stock wheels are 18's so they look wimpy. I keep going back and forth between the 20" and the 22" because my gut tells me that the bigger more massive wheels will look really cool but could easily turn my 85k cruiser into a tuner - which I don't want. The 20's will keep the car stylish and mature - and less ghetto.

Agreed cjohanne! Although I don't have the air suspension, I have a quote being put together right now for Vossen VVS084 in 20" for my SWB.
