Assuming there is no sign of physical damage to the sensors, this should be a warranty repair. The one time I physically damaged a sensor, the error message came on immediately and never went off. The fact that it is intermittent is interesting. Does the error message for both sensors come and go at the same time, or does it sometimes show an error on one, and sometimes the other? If both come and go at the same time I would be pretty confident that it's not a sensor problem.

JstJohnz:

I was told by the northside Lexus dealer that I needed 3 sensors. Two in the front and one on the left rear. The only place the nav screen showed sensor fault was one on the front(the one sensor right of the license plate, not the front right fender). The nav screen has never showed any sensor fault in the rear. The sensor message appeared only two times on my screen in 6 days. I drove the car all weekend and the message never appeared on any screen. Sounds like a loose connection, also sounds like the lexus dealer is trying to make money off me. I am going to an independent lexus repair shop tomorrow for their opinion. Any thoughts?

Answer to scorpio74, I will go to westside lexus. I have used them before and they quoted me the same extended warranty for my car for $1000.00 less than northside lexus.
