turn signals (for side mirror)
I had a stroke in September and now I am ready to drive again.I need to have my turn signals put on the right hand side of the steering column. Can this be done? If so, where.

There are companies that specialize in installing special controls for people with disabilities or special physical needs. You might find some of them in the yellow pages, or perhaps your doc can steer you to them.
But I think I'd start with a call to your Lexus dealer. Most of them know about these equipment suppliers and should be able to help you. Other sources would be organizations such as Disabled Veterans, etc., since they work with people who need such things.
Most vehicle alterations can be made by these aftermarket suppliers, and you can probably get some help on the costs through your insurance or through special programs.
Good luck!

im so sorry to hear about that man! live each day to its max, thats all i can say.
as for the right handed turn signals, ive been hearing more and more of them being done for caddilacs and volvos for older people and even some of my professors with MD have it installed. im not sure about where to go and get that stuff installed, but i thought wouldn't it be simple just to reverse the turn signal lever with the windshield lever? if anyone knows about this, please clarify. sure there are some aspects that would have to be altered, but i thought that for the most part make sense. best of luck!
