Default How much did body kit installation cost you?

I have a couple of body kit installations in mind, but now my question is how much did you pay to have yours installed. Ive been looking on google average price is 1500 for install. I have a LS so im expecting to be charged a bit more for install. How much did you pay and what body kit did you install?

Are you asking just LS owners? If so, disregard my reply.
I just paid $880 to paint and install a kit on my GS. The painter says they should have charged me $1000.
I think you'll mostly find anywhere from $800 to $2000 for install. Some shops like Will Castro of Unique Autosport charge a whole lot more ebut it isn't worth it. $1500 for an LS sounds about right to me.

it's pretty regional, but for a good paint + install job, 1200-1500 here in socal is pretty much what you looking for. for places where competition is not as much as it is here, i expect you pay more

Make sure you buy an Authentic kit so the fit will be right. Get it painted and put it on yourself. Authentic kits typically will use factory mounting points and maybe two holes to screw.

I'm not saying its easy but with the help of another person it can be done. I bought the Vertex front and rear lip from Tony at Luxry Mods, had it painted, and then me and a budy put it on in about 2 hours. Everything lined up perfect one screw on each side of each lip done. If you can get the real thing not a copy of a kit. I've been there and done that. Nothing but headaches.
