wasn't my point ... point is, that, yes , snow tires are better than M+S All Seasons, but dedicated snows aren't necessarily the best choice when other factors are considered from an economic standpoint... Not mistaken re snows and dry pavement ..some definitely wear quicker than others because of the softer compounds .. But, if the OP stuck with a premium snow ( Mich AlPin, Blizzak), might not matter as much ... Hell, I know a guy who left his blizzaks on all year
