Hey all,
I recently purchased a set of what I was told (by the previous owner, of course) are OEM Lexus GS 350 wheels for my 1995 SC 300 and am afraid that I may have acted too quickly:
![](https://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs268.ash1/19550_1244238984696_1191000069_30642093_5877650_n.jpg)
Rough estimates using a tape measure and a little common sense are beginning to tell me that these may actually be somewhere closer to the 5x120mm bolt pattern of the LS 460 models
, and therefore means these will obviously not fit the 5x4.5 (114.3mm) lug pattern of my SC 300. At the moment I'm debating whether these are GS, IS, or LS wheels, and have been told they are even ES wheels (bear with me, I know I've listed all the major series' from Lexus, but these are just what I've been informed of by other Lexus owners) Can anybody confirm or ease my worries on the matter?
More evidence tells me that these are 18x7.5 wheels and after some searching I found that these dimensions are that of the LS 460 wheels...which almost solidifies my case, and is why I've decided to post directly on the LS 460, etc, forum. It's a sad day because I was really hoping these wheels were going to work as I was wanting an aggressive yet OEM look for my poor SC
If worse comes to worse I can always resell the wheels for close to their retail value as they are in near perfect condition, however I was hoping it wouldn't come to that
Any advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated! Take care.

That is the LS bolt pattern, however they look like the 2010 LS460 10-Spoke OEM Wheels.
The LS460 2007-2009 18" standard wheel has nine spokes.

Good luck. I've got a set of mint condition LS460 takeoffs, like yours, with the 5 x 120 bolt pattern and haven't had any serious nibbles at $500.

I bought 4 x 18-spoke OEM LS flawless take-off wheels for $275 plus $60 3-day shipping on Ebay which I used for my snow tires. The same dealer in Phoenix listed a similar set for $249 a month before I bought mine. Even curb-rashed sets are selling now and again for about $150.
Two years ago, Sewell was selling the same set for $1200, and that was considered a good price...

I've been thinking about going the 5x120 to 5x114.3 adapter route, just so I don't take a huge loss trying to resell them...who knows.

Get rid of them fast. These new style wheels will drop quickly next year, once the Ebay re-sellers get a hold of the take-offs from Lexus dealers who seldom hang on to them for long.

Let's just say I need to sell for around $950 to not make a complete *** of myself...
Listen to Burnaby, or just look at all the posts here where members replaced their OEM's with new wheels. The market is flooded with OEM wheels. They're not quite a dime a dozen, but pretty close.
I bought basically a brand new set of OEM wheels for my wife's Jag for mounting the snow tires. I got the set of 4 (including shipping) for less than the cost of just one wheel from the dealer. Plus, no sales tax!

@ Burnaby
Any thoughts on the adapter idea? I found a set for 200 bucks and it seems like I won't be able to sell these for more than $500 (which I would probably take at this point, haha). Who would have thought that my first shot at changing out the stock wheels on my car gets messed up because of a quarter inch...
The worst part is these are excellent wheels! Go figure.

Yours is a winning attitude, mate. ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
They will look smashing and unique on your ride. You may not even have to pay $200 for the adapters.
Be patient and your price will surface sooner than you think.

Well, I found some adapters which may be pretty doable:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_4646wt_2439
I don't know the rules about posting eBay listings on here, but since it was to get advice and not to sell the actual item I imagine it will be alright![Uhh...](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/1387914497.gif)
Anyways, I'd like to do anything I can to get those wheels to fit my SC300 so what's the verdict as far as safety and durability are concerned? Is this a complete absurd idea?
Help me, oh wise ones
PS: CL rules...screw Lextasy.

you got them from lextasy? man that's the worst mistakes you can never make, they are bunch of crooks.
as long as the adapters are of good quality then you should have a good chance of fitting things one. key is to mount them on right and that the adapters are good quality

The adapters were posted on eBay, but I imagine I'll be able to find them elsewhere if it comes down to it...the eBay listing assures that the adapters will outlast the wheels they are adapting (ha...we'll see once I hit the highway at 100+

Though I could always go back to the person I bought them from and "force" the money out of them

I'll update once I've decided what to do. Pictures will ensue if the adapter plan goes well
