The P7 should be available, they are on the 3rd generation now. Still what I would buy.

I do wonder about the possible benefits of EV-specific tires, since they are designed with NVH as a primary focus.
What are you running on your S-Class, out of curiosity?

Yep, thats the latest version. They don't make them in the P7 in the rear size for my S560, but I have the Pirelli PZero All Season Plus which are also very smooth and quiet. I tried Grand Touring tires on the car at first but it drives better on Ultra High Performance tires....the LS always felt awesome on those P7s.

I bought the original tire options, the two popular Michelins and monitored tire pressure to try to avoid the wear patterns. I thought tires for my LS460L AWD would force me to sell it.
Then I put on the Pirelli Centurato P7 All Season Plus. These improved the ride and tracking very noticeably and have worn like iron. I have about 35K on them. I will put the same on again if they ever show signs of wear...

Michelin super sport 5
2007 LS460 Michelin Super sport pilot All season, great tire but very lazy and boat like , im upgrading to a OEM 19" rims 245/45/19 and thinking about Michelin Super Sport pilot 5, I am hoping for better handling and steering response...

Yeah, I’d rather play to the car’s strengths. Only performance requirement is cruising at 90 mph.
If I want thrilling cornering I hop into my other car.
Can’t wait to replace the worn OEMs with P7 AS Plus 3.

I used the Continental DWS on two LS400's and a LS430 and liked them veery well. Went to Continental Pure Contact Eco Plus (A/S touring tire 70,000 mile warranty) on my 2015 LS460L AWD and have loved them.

Now rocking the Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3. The difference between them and the 8 year old OEM Bridgestones is stark. The OEM tires were only down to 4/32, but on city speeds over rough roads I was second guessing the decision to buy this car.
The Pirellis smooth the ride out so much. Steering is crisper (still a land yacht, but not feeling like a car on bald tires).
They transmit so much less road impact noise into the cabin. Road noise is a lot less. Not quite W222 S-Class, but night and day difference from before. Very happy!

The LS seems to be sensitive to tire wear. It seems that getting new rubber before the tires are down to 5/32 may seem wasteful but you get a smooth quiet ride back again. That may be more important to some members.

Having owned several EVs and gone back to gas, I’m pretty used to extreme tire wear. Changing at 5/32 is wasteful but probably less so if I’m getting 35-40k miles out of them. Tires on my EVs lasted 25k miles.
