Chrome Wheels for the LS - Your Thoughts?

Unless you are going to put ceramic brake pads on the car or clean the wheels on a very regular basis, then please do yourself and who ever else purchases the car in the future a favor and stick with regular painted alloy wheels. There is nothing worse then dirty flaking chrome wheels that are getting eaten alive with acidic brake dust.

Recently purchased a set of 9 spoke oem Lexus chrome wheels with Lexus center caps and lug nuts from LA Wheels for about $1600 including shipping without any trade in. Had them mounted and balanced with the the stock Bridgestone Turanza EL42. No complaints and am quite happy with the looks. As far as brake dust goes, I am using Blackfire Wet Diamond All Metal Sealant on the rims and the do a great job of keeping the brake dust buildup to a minimum.

For the days I do wake up feeling like Mr Hyde, I just pull out on the right side of the garage in the Vette instead of the left side in the LS
BTW, dont know if anyone has evr used rejex but I use the product on my polished HRE's on my vette, which gets heavy dust in a matter of a few days. The dust comes off so much easier with the product.

I've never heard of that. I might give it try and see. I will also see how the rejex product holds up. On the Polished HRE's on my vette most of it comes off with a good pressure hose. I will test a few things out before I switch to a different pad. But if dust is still a pain then I'll bite on the pad if I have too
