What is the least popular color in the LS?
Hey everyone,
So Im shopping for a used LS LWB and I have noticed a trend...and the trend being that Silver is cheaper then other colors..followed by Black.
Any truth to this theory?
I noticed low mileage Silver LS's are cheaper then a higher mileage other colors.
Thanks for your input...and for any of you who have silver ...just wanted to say i personally like the color..but wanted to get others feed back.

The production and allocations are stacked so that certain colors will be more common. I'm pretty sure that Golden Almond Metallic was the least popular/least common available color on the LS 460, and since the refresh is not available any more.

Those two colors are probably the least desirable on any car. With the exception of the Brit cars (Jag and Land Rover, etc.) green is usually a tough sell. From my experience, those colors are always discounted on lots. Gold can be hit or miss and usually a lot of miss.

^funny thing is I saw the golden almond metallic in person and I actually liked it--doubt I'd ever get it...it would look pretty badass with matching colored rims...I mean its not for everybody but it has potential...

I guess it depends on what the design of the car is. The Ls400 looked awesome in gold and so did the SC400 but not as good in black or silver imo. The LS 430 looks pretty nice in the silver but not the gold. LS460, its the pearl-ish white color and burgundy that really brings out that design. IMHO!!!
