Help! Need Feedback
Hello Everyone:
I need some feedback. I purchased a 2007 ls460 in Jan. without the mark levinson system. Now the dealer that I purchased my LS has another LS exactly like my car but with the ML system. Same mileage, same color, but I had the 30K lexus checkup and rear brakes ($1300) done on my car and this new car has not had this done yet.
Do I install a nice system in my car for $3500 or do I trade for the Lexus with the ML system.
And what would you say is a good trade price if he will not trade even.
Thanks
jarm

If Audio is all your after I wouldnt go through the hastle of trading in the car for the ML system. I think in the long run you'd end up paying more for the trade in of the car rather than upgrading the system in your car now.
Just my opinion though. Good luck.

There is no way he will trade even, he's in business to make money.
My guess is you will do better to do your own upgrade. The ML is a nice system, but you can do better.

It sounds like you purchased a base model and this car you are looking at has some decent options? I would consider a trade if you will be picking up stuff like navi and rear cam or if had exec rear seats.

several of us have posted upgrading the Premium audio. Hands down better than anything ML could come up with and you wont be spending 3500, unless you want to have all the fabrication etc that I did, to make it all look factory.
There are a few LS drivers on here that live in TX, if your close do yourself a favor and go and listen to them and then sit in one with the ML.. and you will know what I mean.

Hello:
Finally my car salesman got back with me on the Lexus exchange. He told me some mumbo jumbo about how the bank owns the car and they would not do a reverse title. It sounded to me like it was a rip off anyway. Better off installing a cool system in my car and enjoying it. Thanks for everyone's help. Ya'll have saved me time and time again.

Its very disappointing to hear more and more that Lexus dealers are acting like your stereotypical Chevy dealer. I had a poor dealer experience myself a while back when I was looking to go into an AWD LS. Toyota/Lexus has more to worry about than just acceleration problems.
