I am new to the forum and first time posting. I am looking at a 2008 LS460L with 9k miles with ML audi system, touring package, advance parking system and park assist. Very clean car. Sticker price around $81k. what is a good price? Is $52k a good price? Also any issued with '08 460L that I need to be aware off? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Are you having problems using Autotrader/ebaymotors/craigslist to comp the price or are just lazy and feel the need to ask us here? A search will answer all your questions about the few known problems with the 08 model year car.

To answer Miniz's questions regarding research, I have also read a lot of the LS460 threads and noted that the biggest issue is wind noise, follow by the air suspension problem. I saw the TSIB link and check it out and seems like only '07 model is really affected by the wind noise problem. Is this true? I guess the only way to find out is to drive the car on the highway. So far I only took it for a local test drive.
Other than these 2 issues, I have not read to many major issues with the '08 model. Am I missing anything big that I should know about.
I have never owen a Lexus but decided to due to its reliability reputation. I plan to drive this car 8+ year putting about 12k a year. I have owned German cars for the last 10 years and don't believe they are very reliable for the long term.
Thanks in advance for any input.

This car is def way more reliable than German cars for sure. You shouldn't sweat it too much if you do pull the trigger as from your research it appears to be a very good deal if you get it. You will have warranty for another two years and until 50k so if there are some probs you can get them sorted at Lexus. Drive car first for wind noise which people have or don't. If you've done your research and feel content the. I think it's q very good deal. You're getting a new car basically and if in 2 years or 42k miles feel the need
to e tend warranty you can. Good luck. These are really overall amazing machines.

IMHO that price for that car is a VERY good deal. Almost too good if you ask me.
An '08 460L with 9K miles for 52K.... if the car is legit and has a clean title, etc... GET IT!
9k miles is nothing on this car and the styling is basically the same inside and out as a 2010 (just minor changes).
Have a trusted mechanic check it out -- even if it costs you some $$ to do it. Make sure the title is clean and then Get it, get it, GET IT!!!!!
