Default My Big LS Problem...

So, Wednesday evening I got to the store to pick up some eggs, go out to the car and the rear door opens. Nothin unusual about that, however, the mirrors didn't fold out and the alarm went off. Turn out the rear door on the drivers side isn't locking. No biggie, I'll take it to the dealer.

Flash forward to today, get a call that the car is ready and the rear door actuator was replaced. Get in the car, drive to starbucks, and the door still doesn't lock. To add insult to injury, the tech left dirty hand prints all over the inside of the door panel. The car was literally in worse shape when I picked it up then it was when it arrived. This afternoon I get the call, "We need to call Lexus tech support." So no car until Monday, maybe... Anyone have anything like this happen before?

I have good luck at Crown in Ontario, not sure which dealer in CA you went to, but I would have them fix it, give you a loaner and give your vehicle a full detail on them for the hassle.. that is not what you should expect from a Lexus dealer and you need to let them know that.

I agree completely. Lexus service should give you A+ management of your car and you. Manager in charge should be aware of the issue.

that sounds like some very crappy dealership work... you should demand an interior detailing

when my car goes in for service, it always come out just like the way it goes in
