Just bought a '08 LS460 need advise on clear bra and OEM wheels
Just picked up a '08 LS460 Starfire Pearl with NAV, ML system, comfort pkg, park assist, power doors/trunk, lexus link with 22k miles on it. Got it for $43k. The car is in mint condition. The previous owner never even took off the platic mats that the dealer put on top of the regular car mats.
I want to install a clear bra on the car. I live in Orange County, CA. Does anyone know where to get a good clear bra and what brand should I consider? Also, should I get it from the dealer? I hear it is difficult to install the clear bras.
Also I want the LWB 5 spoke 19" touring wheels or the LS600HL wheels on the car. Where can I get the OEM wheels other than the dealers at a decent price?

check out aerotect, most of us go there for our install. they are the only one who touches my cars basically. getting from dealers doesn't mean it's good, they just outsource is anyway. you need a good shop like aerotect to do it
try sewell lexus, they have better pricing, but don't expect to be "cheap" on those oem 19s
congrats on your new car!

Be patient, they surface on Ebay once in a while. You might also call or email dealers across the US and ask if they have any take-offs that match your requirements. They don't hang on to them very long, so put your name on a waiting list in the parts department. Sewell Lexus in Dallas has them occasionally and they are well priced. The ones they have now are chrome wheels, and those are quite expensive - about $5K for a set of four.

We traded our OEM wheels for the 5 spoke chromes installed and everything was 2k at Sewell, so if your wheels are still in good condition you might want to deal with the parts department are your local dealer and ask them to price match it online. But if you buy them straight they're close to about $3k
