Ticking From Speakers
I did a search with no luck. Anyone every have a problem with the speakers all of the sudden going out then ticking noise. I talked to lexus all they say is take it to a dealer but no service open on sunday and go a 5hr dive back home. It ticks the whole time the car is on. They say something with the amp so anyway to unplug it till get back home. They seem like they know about but no recall really upsets me with it being a costly car. Thanks for any help.

Yea its a ML. Anyway to stop it until I can get it to the dealer. 5hr trip home with ticking is going to be very hard and most likely make me get another make.

check your user manual, there are several fuses that feed the audio system, you will need to check for the one(s) that feed the amp or head unit and that will surely stop the ticking until you can get it repaired. You may also just be able to unplug the amp, its located in the right rear corner of the trunk and the panel pulls out. You may need to remove one screw under the cargo net holder on the right side closest to the right rear seat, but its pretty tight in there, the fuse would be easier.
