Congrats Joe! I'm in love with the LS but you are replacing it with one heck of a car. Before you leave us for the Benz forums you better post some pictures and a review!
Sooo do you have a deposit to hold or can I still find it and steal it from you

Sound like he gave you a very reasonable price on the trade. Enjoy your S600! After the deal is done, you should post the dealer info in case some one is interested in taking your trade off the dealers hands. If I was in the market I would certainly prefer to purchase where I knew the history based on the original owner.

Here are a few photo's of saying goodbye to the LS and hello to the S600, also wife with Sales Manager. My LS was in such mint condition physically and mechanically that they drove it straight into the show room. The dealer is Faulkner of West Chester, PA. As I stated in an earlier post, trade in given was $42K.
I will stop by from time to time to say hello.
Best Regards,
Joe

Excellent deal. The LS looks better than S-Class by a mile in terms of styling elegance and modern styling, but I couldn't turn down an V-12 car like the S600 for only $22k more.
Those S600 rims are absolutely disgusting though, I hope you have some good looking replacements in mind.

Great shots. I really prefer the rear view of the S600 MB. It's awesome looking from the back side. From the front, they actually fairly similar in some ways. It's really neat to see them side by side like that. You don't usually see that.
Congrats. Your "new" car is in a class of it's own. Well, "S", in any case.

Happy ending. Sales manager from Faulkner sold my LS to his Dad on Saturday. His Dad came down from Canada, and his son showed him the car. So happy ending.
Also, thanks for all the kinds replies here. I will check in from time to time.
Best Regards,
Joe

Lexus of Louisville performed the CPO work but didn't find a buyer, so after a month or so transferred it to their sister dealership, smart center Louisville (next door) and sold it "without" the CPO. I suppose they didn't have to buy the extra warranty from Lexus and could thus offer a better price. While negotiating with the Lexington dealership on a similar CPO car, they offered to remove the warranty to offer a better price (~$1k off), unfortunately for them the "better price" was still too high, and too late. Technically I suppose you can't consider either a CPO car without the extra warranty, even though they had all the checks and work done.
